'They’re a pain': Trump senior adviser trashes Project 2025

Project 2025, the conservative Heritage Foundation's "920-page policy blueprint," as the 19th reports, "that lays out a far-right Christian vision for" for Donald Trump's administration if he wins the presidency in November, would completely dismantle democracy as Americans know it, Democrats warn.
However, Trump claimed last week to not know much about the plan, and the former president's team isn't too fond of the project.
"I have no idea who is behind it," Trump wrote on social media.

Trump campaign senior adviser, Chris LaCivita on Thursday said during an interview, "They're a pain in the a—."
Politico reports, the MAGA staffer "said it’s 'complete and utter bulls—t' for any reporter to suggest those individuals or policies will be appointed or adopted in a second Trump administration."
CNN reported last week, "Many people Trump knows quite well are behind" Project 2025.
"Six of his former Cabinet secretaries helped write or collaborated on the" plan, according to the news outlet, including "four individuals Trump nominated as ambassadors."

Furthermore, CNN noted, "at least 140 people who worked in the Trump administration had a hand in Project 2025."
