'Stay down!' CNN reporter hurls expletives as team dodges explosions near Israel-Gaza border

On Monday morning, October 9, Al Jazeera reported that the death toll in the war between Israel and Hamas had climbed to 1300 — with more than 800 Israelis and over 500 Palestinians having been killed.
CNN's Clarissa Ward witnessed the danger of the conflict first hand while reporting near the Israel/Gaza border.
Ward and some of her colleagues were running when they heard the sound of explosions, and Ward told them, "Get down. Down!"

All of them got on the ground, and Ward — continuing to hear the explosions — said, "F***." One of her colleagues told her, "You're fine. You're fine, you're fine. You're OK. You're all right, you're all right."
Ward advised her colleagues, "Stay down." And as the explosions continued, Ward added, "F***, f***."
