Ex-Trump official — with potential to join new administration — shares biggest Harris concern: report

Former Donald Trump White House adviser, Peter Navarro, has one major concern about Vice President Kamala Harris' campaign, two weeks ahead of the election.
According to a Sunday, October 20 Politico report, the Trump ally — who served four months in prison this year for defying his subpoena from the January 6 committee — is "worried that Kamala Harris will complete a competent long form interview in prime time with a tough, objective reporter."
"Such an interview would dispel the wide voter perception that Harris is an over-scripted talking head by demonstrating she can think quickly and intelligently on her feet improvisationally," Navarro told Politico.

Navarro added, "Trump holds a big advantage on the key salient issues driving voters — economy, inflation, border, crime, national security. However, Trump also leads in the 'looks presidential' category. He can not cede that ground to Harris — it’s Harris’ biggest vulnerability, perhaps even bigger than her numerous policy failures."
Following his prison release, the ex-Trump official made an appearance on the Republican National Committee stage in July — in a moment of MAGA victory — and in May, the Wall Street Journal reported that Trump said, "I would absolutely have Peter back. This outrageous behavior by the Democrats should not have happened."
