Michael Moore 'shocked' people still think Trump will win: 'Do you not know any women?'

Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore on Monday delivered a call to action to Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign — while arguing Democrats shouldn’t fear a Donald Trump victory because “there’s going to be a tsunami of women voting between now and Election Day."
Moore appeared on CNN to discuss an op-ed he wrote last Friday about the state of the 2024 race. “If everyone does their part in the next few weeks, Trump is going down in flames,” Moore wrote in an essay on Substack.
Still, the famed filmmaker warned Harris against a move to the center as her campaign makes its final pitch to voters.

“If Harris is advised by her wealthy donors to shun the left and drop her more progressive positions in favor of a ‘move to the center, '" it “could reduce or depress the vote for Harris, especially among the base," Moore wrote.
.
Speaking with CNN, Moore argued “we're going to have one of our largest turnouts ever … because of everything that's at stake.” The “Fahrenheit 9/11” director also marveled at Democrats (“such a frightened group of people”) because “they still think that Trump is going to win.”
“This is kind of shocking to me, like don't you live with people?” Moore asked. “Are you are you not aware that there's going to be a tsunami of women voting between now and Election Day?”
Noting the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade in 2022, Moore continued: "Anybody who thinks that women are going to stay home, that woman are going to tolerate this — do you not know any women? Do you not live with a woman? Is there a next door neighbor? Is there somebody you could just go ask them, ‘So what do you think about my gender here?’"
